A bit about fforest...
fforest is owned, managed and adored by James and Sian who left London careers and moved to Wales in 2004 looking for a lovelier, wilder life. fforest opened to guests in 2007 and hosted the first of many weddings in 2008.
“When the first couple asked if they could have their wedding with us, we said no,” says James. “We just weren’t set up for it – we didn’t have tablecloths for a start! But we gave in and it was great. Making it happen was memorable and rewarding for everyone involved and the couple chose us because we weren’t a formula.”
“We’ve developed fforest a lot since then,” continues Sian. “We always keep in mind what we learned from that first couple – for every guest and for every couple, the celebration should be unique and truly memorable. We’ve also now got tablecloths if you want them!”
fforest Farm is 500 acres of pure bliss where the hills meet the river and the sea in a pristine location just upstream of the small market town of Cardigan in West Wales. fforest Farm is like a little village with a Georgian farmhouse, farmyard barns, the lodge, shelters, fire pits, cottages, unique wilderness accommodation and a tiny stone pub.
