a small secluded ex dairy farm set in 10 acres of rural bliss, a 15 minute leisurely stroll from a quiet, beautiful and expansive National Trust beach.

fforest Coast, known locally as Manorafon, is perfect for the quieter, smaller, more intimate wedding for up to 60 guests. 10 acres in a secluded valley with outstanding views and one of Wales’ best National Trust beaches on the doorstep. We hold a maximum of 8 weddings at fforest Coast each year. The serene coastal location means that we limit the volume and location of any music to preserve our neighbours’ enjoyment of the valley.

Set away from the accommodation, the rustic Dutch barn is the setting for wedding day dining or partying. The large, level barn terrace looking out across the valley is the perfect spot for an informal barbecue or relaxing over a sundowner, while a vintage marquee on the barn lawn is a flexible space for a humanist ceremony, an outdoor bar or a more creative use. It’s up to you.

Guests stay in log cabins and geodesic domes while the bridal party takes over the old farmhouse.

VENUE CAPACITY

fforest Coast can accommodate celebrations for a maximum of 60 guests, dining in the rustic Dutch barn and using the vintage marquee on the lawn for a humanist ceremony, chill out space or pop up bar. We also have a huge raised level deck, looking across the valley, that can be used of a drinks reception or informal dining. The serene location means that there is a strict limit volume of any music to preserve our neighbours’ enjoyment of the valley.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation centres around the stable with a decked terrace perfectly positioned to catch the sunset and a great space for you and your guests to meet up for breakfast.There is accommodation for up to 40 guests in a combination of Tŷ Manorafon - the 4 bedroom farmhouse, log cabins and geodesic domes. If you would like all of your guests to stay on site we are happy to talk to you about additional tented accommodation or the option of BYO tents once all our accommodation is filled.

DINING

We can seat up to 60 guests in the Dutch barn. The barn terrace is perfect for an informal barbecue.

CEREMONIES

fforest Coast is not licensed for Civil Ceremonies. There are a number of possibilities to conduct a humanist ceremony on site.

We limit the numbers to 60 guests at fforest Coast because of the quiet location of the venue.

RECEPTION ONLY

fforest Coast is not licensed for civil ceremonies and is therefore a perfect reception only venue. This is a residential site with a minimum 2 night stay (Friday to Sunday for weekend weddings) with exclusive access for the wedding party.

LOCATION & LOCAL AREA

From fforest Coast there is direct access to the coastal path with easy clifftop walks west to the villages of Tresaith and Aberporth and east to Llangranog. This is a stunning walk, rewarded with great eating and drinking including a traditional home-made ice cream parlour, Y Llong pub and restaurant and excellent fish and chips at ‘Y Caban’ overlooking the beach.
