informal 1 day venue located on the riverside in the centre of Cardigan town and minutes away from the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion coastline.

A courtyard bordered by heritage maritime buildings steeped in history, this venue is perfect for a relaxed informal summer wedding under the giant hat tipi, guests sitting on the riverside terrace, watching the river flow past Cardigan castle towards the sea.
Or a cosy, rustic, barn wedding in the Coalyard with music, dancing and atmospheric lighting, guests spilling out into the courtyard to chat around the firebowls or grab a drink from the Smwglin pub, decorated with vintage maritime pieces.

VENUE CAPACITY

A double giant hat tipi in the courtyard can accommodate 200, while the adjoining Coalyard barn can host 400 for a party. The Canoe Club is a small intimate space accessed from an open staircase in the courtyard.

ACCOMMODATION

You can throw a stone at it. Just across the river in a beautiful old warehouse, looking over the Quayside venue and Cardigan Castle, we have 5 self-catering lofts including a romantic studio apartment, sleeping a total of 17 guests.

DINING

For eating the Giant Hat tipis will accommodate up to 120 people and our Coalyard barn up to 150.

CEREMONIES

Civil ceremonies can be held at the Guildhall just a 5 minute walk up Cardigan High Street.

Reception only

fforest Quayside is the perfect reception-only venue. After your off-site ceremony we will be waiting for you in the courtyard to host your drinks reception.

fforest Quayside is a non-residential venue with exclusive access for your party for your wedding day.

EVENING RECEPTION

In the evening the barn can welcome up to 400 guests.
